NBA schedules for the 2009 – 2010 NBA Season came out yesterday and from the looks of it the defending NBA Champs, the LA Lakers, have a great start to the season with 17 or their first 21 games at home at the Staples Center.
Opening night games include the Cleveland Cavaliers with LaBron James and newly acquired Shaquille O’Neil, hosting Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen and the newest Boston Celtic, Rasheed Wallace.
There are 1,230 games to be played in the 2009-10 regular season and 239 of those will be televised on NBC,TNT, ABC, ESPN and NBA TV.
I would expect the NBA season to be much like the MLB season has been. There will be plenty of bargains to be had as cash strapped individuals and companies cut back on season tickets and teams roll out the promotions to move tickets.
NBA Tickets are already on sale and it’s never to early to start planning your first game.
